Jason Momoa says 'Warner and DC is definitely my home'

Momoa, who took on the role of Justice League's 'Aquaman' in 2017 reflected on the challenge of transforming the character from a historically mocked figure into a gritty and beloved hero as he says it was "a really hard g**damn thing to do."

"But it's also fun just to be the reluctant king and then, you know, getting past all of his ego, and [seeing him] realizing what he's meant to do," Momoa added.

Momoa also expressed a desire to be part of the adaptations of the DC cinematic universe which is currently being rebuilt by Safran and Gunn.

"If there's a place in their world for me, I would love to be a part of it," the actor stated.

"This is my home. Warner and DC is definitely my home. So, that’s all I'll say," he added.

Speaking about his love for the character, Momoa said, "You know, I had roles before, [but] they're nothing like this."

"You have kids coming up, really excited to see you, and adults. But at the end of the day, my passion growing up was always about the oceans, and being Polynesian, and being an activist," he said of playing the iconic role of 'Aquaman.'
