LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The recent revelations surrounding the raid on Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 have ignited a fierce debate, with Fox News host Jesse Watters leading the charge against the Biden administration.

Watters' commentary was infused with fiery rhetoric and an accusatory tone, mirroring the broader narrative of political polarization in the US.

According to his account, the FBI, under the authority of the Biden DOJ, authorized the use of deadly force during the raid on Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump's residence.

Watters emphasized the sensational aspects of the raid, citing the presence of armed agents in unmarked attire and the invasive search of Melania and Barron Trump's bedrooms.

He stated, “Here's your bombshell in the Trump documents case. The FBI authorized the use of deadly force during the Mar-a-Lago raid. This according to documents filed by Trump's legal team. Agents in unmarked polo shirts planned to bring standard issue weapons, ammo, handcuffs, medium and large size bolt cutters, and even lock picking equipment as they prepared to go door to door at Mar-a-Lago. And they did, ransacking Melania Trump's bedroom along with Barron Trump's bedroom. The FBI also took extensive photographs of Melania and Barron's rooms for no apparent reason.”



 

Watters targets Biden's double standards

He further added, “Think about this for a second. Joe Biden sent men with guns to his political opponent's house and turn their bedrooms upside down. That's never happened in the history of the United States. And we've had some crazy presidents. This was the former first lady and a professional model. These people are sick. And Biden complains about his son's privacy, Hunter's. He had armed men rummage through Barron's bedroom.” 

However, according to the New York Post, the FBI stated, “The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland's personal approval of the decision to seek a search warrant reinforces the administration's stance on accountability and transparency in governance.
