WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA: Jill Biden passionately defended President Joe Biden's reelection bid, declaring her unwavering support for her husband's 2024 run.

During a campaign stop in Wilmington, North Carolina on Monday, July 8, the First Lady launched an initiative aimed at veterans and military families and said, "President Biden wakes up every morning ready to work for you."

“That’s what this election is all about: you,” she added.

Amid the crowd's cheers of "four more years!", Jill Biden said, "For all the talk out there about this race, Joe has made it clear that he’s all in."

“That’s the decision that he’s made. And just as he has always supported my career, I’m all in too,” she added.

The First Lady's comments come after her husband's shaky debate performance against former President Donald Trump in Atlanta which sparked calls from both political opponents and allies for him to reconsider his reelection bid.

Jill Biden, a professor at Northern Virginia Community College was accused of prioritizing “what is best for herself over her husband’s health and the safety and security of the country at large," and criticized President Biden's decision to continue his reelection campaign.

Elizabeth Alexander, the First Lady’s communications director said, “the president has plenty of political and policy advisers — that’s never been [Jill Biden’s] role."



 

Jill Biden says Donald Trump 'wants to be a dictator'

While speaking to the crowd in Wilmington, Jill Biden highlighted her Joe Biden's record on military issues with that of Donald Trump.

“We know what Donald Trump was like as commander in chief. He dismissed the military community and diminished America’s leadership around the world. And it could be worse this time," she said.

"He says he wants to be a dictator on day one. Donald Trump wakes up every morning thinking about one person and one person only: himself,” the First Lady added.

Internet slams Jill Biden for defending Joe Biden's reelection bid

Reacting to Jill Biden's support for her husband's reelection bid despite calls to quit the race and widespread criticism following his lackluster debate performance, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "She's all into losing."



 

"We know, you are probably the one behind all of this. Elder abuse?" a netizen commented while another user tweeted, "Of course Lady Macbeth is all in lol."



 



 

"My god he’s old and can’t form a complete sentence. Can the Biden’s get over their giant egos?" a user tweeted and another user wrote, "Laugh out Loud! Evil woman that she is, evil!!!"
