LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a comical and light-hearted segment on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon', viewers were treated to a mock interview with former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden ahead of their anticipated debate.

Fallon, renowned for his humor and wit, cleverly used old clips of both political figures to create a series of amusing exchanges that captured the essence of their personalities.

Jimmy Fallon interviews Joe Biden and Trump

The segment kicked off with Fallon posing a question to Biden, asking when he began preparing for the upcoming debate. "Mr Biden, when did you start preparing for next week’s debate?” Biden humorously inserted, "That was back in 1871, I think."

Turning to Trump, Fallon asked “Mr Trump, over to you. Have you been prepping for the debate?” Trump's candid reply, "Not even a little bit!"

Fallon then shifted to the logistics of the debate stage, “Now, the debate stage won’t have any chairs, so you’ll both be standing for over 90 minutes. Mr Trump, how long before you’ll need a break?” He queried Trump about how soon he might need a break, to which Trump deadpanned, "In 3 minutes."

In contrast, Fallon asked Biden the same question, prompting Biden to quip, "In 3 seconds."

Continuing the mock interview, Fallon teased Biden about his choice of running mate, pretending to forget her name. Biden, playing along, responded with a humorous, "Um, what’s her name again, Karen?" before being corrected with a chuckle by Fallon, "Kamala. Kamala Harris."

Jimmy Fallon's political satire gets mixed reactions

The reactions to Jimmy Fallon’s comedic mock interview with Donald Trump and Joe Biden on 'The Tonight Show' reflect the deeply polarized nature of contemporary political humor.

One user wrote, "Why is when they make fun of Biden it's funny. When they make fun of Trump it's not?"

Another commented, "If Donald Trump hadn't been so shielded as a child, how many times do you think he'd have been beaten to a bloody pulp by the other kids?"

One user replied, "If dead people and illegals were voting for Republicans, Democrats would not only want voter IDs, they would also want fingerprints, an eye scan, a bottom swab and a DNA sample..."

One said, "Jimmy Fallon is just like a little kid. Bet he plays with himself while he shows Biden and Trump tapes."

One said, "Fallon is a Left Wing joke that gets worse with every repetition."
