WASHINGTON, DC: Whistleblowers have reported that John Kerry, while serving as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, utilized a pseudonymous government email address.

Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson were informed of this, and they have since reached out to Secretary of State Antony Blinken for clarification on Kerry's adherence to federal records law when he was secretary of state

It has been disclosed that the email address "SESTravel1@state.gov" was used by Kerry in his official duties.

"We want to know whether then-Secretary Kerry properly complied with all federal records laws and regulations with respect to his official email communications and whether responses to relevant Freedom of Information Act requests have properly included that email address in productions to requestors," they wrote, according to Fox News.

Concerns raised about State Department's adherence to records laws since 2015

The senators have expressed concerns regarding the State Department's adherence to federal records laws since 2015, amid the probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private server for official duties.

Additionally, they have voiced concerns since July 2021 about President Biden's employment of a personal email during his vice presidency, including the use of pseudonymous government emails for "official business," and his compliance with federal records laws.

"To-date, the Biden administration has failed to address Joe Biden’s compliance with federal records laws," they wrote.

The letter to Blinken was sent shortly after whistleblowers reported to Grassley and Johnson that Kerry, along with his State Department, "actively interfered" with the FBI's efforts to execute arrest warrants against individuals in the United States who were allegedly aiding Iranian financial endeavors to develop weapons of mass destruction.

Kerry is accused of causing "extensive, consistent, and successful interference and obstruction of the FBI's efforts to arrest Iranian terrorists because of his desire to cement the failed Iran Nuclear Deal between the Obama/Biden administration and the Iranian government," as Grassley and Johnson reminded Blinken of their concerns.
