Johnny Wactor's ex-fiancee Tessa Farrell urges people to support each other as she opens up on his death
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The entire entertainment world is shocked by the sudden death of ‘General Hospital’ star Johnny Wactor.
Wactor's ex-fiancee Tessa Farrell has shared an emotional post in which she has directly addressed the killers.
Tessa Farrell appeals for change
Ferrell sobbed as she talked about Wactor's tragic death. “I know the job market’s hard but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal — especially take a life over it,” she said.
“Human life is disregarded too easy,” she continued while asking her followers to “make changes as a community” and “support each other.”
Farrell further said, “Maybe that’s what Johnny’s gift is for us, maybe he’s gifting that to all of us.”
Farrell and Wactor met in 2013 and remained in touch even after they called off their “fiery” engagement.
The 37-year-old was shot dead by one of the three masked men in his car on Saturday, May 25, during an attempted robbery.
Wactor’s talent agent David Shaul issued a statement over his death via Variety. “Johnny Wactor was spectacular human being. Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him,” he said in a statement.
Wactor’s family has started a GoFundMe page to get help with travel and arrangements necessary for his funeral.
"I want to raise money for his mother, Scarlett, and his brothers, Lance and Grant to be able to travel the distance of 2000 miles (the many times it may take) to take care of this heartbreaking business which they have been sentenced," reads the campaign description.
The fundraiser has set a goal of $100,000, and has already reached over $41,000, reports PageSix.
