He then disclosed his intention to vote for Harris and Walz. "The truth matters. And the truth is on election day I'll be voting for @KamalaHarris and @TimWalz because I believe in the power of we, not of me. I've written a song reminding us that out of many, we are still one," he elaborated.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff thanked Bon Jovi for his endorsement of Harris. “It’s my wife, and it’s now or never. Election’s coming in November,” Emhoff wrote on X. “Thanks for supporting Kamala, @JonBonJovi!”

Jon Bon Jovi's endorsement of Kamala Harris divides Internet

Jon Bon Jovi's post endorsing Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz garnered mixed reactions from the public, who expressed their opinions on X (formerly known as Twitter).

One X user criticized Jon Bon Jovi, commenting, "Welp. You lost another fan."

The comments under the post echoed similar sentiments, with many targeting Jon's song.

"Wow! That song is awful. Bon Jovi really lost his ability to make good music. This is going to help Trump so much, and cost you 75% of your fans," another added.

One commentator remarked, "Almost as awful as I’ll Be There For You."

"You're a joke," said a critic.

Many have argued that artists should refrain from making political comments, and a 60-year-old celebrity has faced criticism for doing so.

"When will musicians and actors learn to keep out of politics. I know your career is over but people were still listening to your music," one individual stated.

Another wrote, "I agree that musicians and actors should keep out of politics. I still enjoy Bon Jovi's music."

"What do you do for a living? Maybe stick to that," an X user asked.

Some individuals also supported Bon Jovi's choice to cast his vote for Kamala Harris.

One asserted, "Absolutely love that you're voting for Harris. She'll make a huge improvement in our economy & cares about people."

"We e got Bon Jovi!!!," a fan mentioned.

"Thank you, some of us care about this country! I think you get it. They want us to forget the real America and think of it as some old religious dude's country -- NO WAY," another person wrote.
