LEVITTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA: A 32-year-old man who is accused of beheading his father and posting a disturbing video on YouTube showing the severed head, broke inside a military facility to “try and mobilize the National Guard” before he was arrested, per federal authorities, as reported by ABC News

Justin Mohn, who was an employee of Microsoft, was arrested inside Fort Indiantown Gap hours after his father was found dismembered in the bathroom of their home in Middletown Township in Bucks County on Tuesday, January 30.

Justin Mohn mobilized the National Guard

As per the Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn, Fort Indiantown Gap police found the suspect trespassing inside the military installation after scaling a barbed-wire fence.

As per Fox News, Justin had a loaded firearm that was missing one round and was taken into custody without incident, she said.

"He went to Fort Indiantown Gap in an effort to mobilize the National Guard to raise arms against the federal government," Schorn said. She added, "He also indicated that he wanted to speak to Governor Josh Shapiro to join forces."

For context, the suspect had posted a 14-minute (now-deleted) video on YouTube following the murder that showed the head of his deceased father and a "call to arms for American patriots" to kill federal employees, Schorn said during a press briefing on Friday, February 2.

What did the police say?

Justin's 68-year-old father Michael Mohn was a federal employee with the Army Corps of Engineers who was found dead in a bathroom by his wife, police said.

His wife ran to a neighbor's house to call 911, Schorn said. A police criminal complaint states that upon arrival at the location, responding officers discovered a machete and a large kitchen knife. According to Schorn, an autopsy revealed that the victim had been fatally shot and then mutilated the body with a knife and machete.

Police also received several 911 calls over the YouTube video, which had garnered at least 5,000 views, as per Schorn.

She said, "It's quite horrifying how many views we understand it had before it was taken down," adding, "Obviously we were able to capture and secure that video because it's self-explanatory as to who's responsible, although these are allegations at this point."
