“Do you ever think, well, you know, if things don’t work out, we could always move back here and be just fine?” Braver asked.

“We’re going to win this election. We have to win this election,” he said. “Literally. Our country, and our world depends on us winning this election,” he added.

Emhoff claimed while talking about Harris, "She’s the toughest person out there." Braver replied, "She’s tough." To this, Harris' husband added, "Oh, she’s so tough. It just bounces right off of her."

Internet reacts to Douglas Emhoff's statement

Internet was not impressed by Emhoff's predictions about the 2024 US elections. One reader mocked, "Hey hicks what are the polls saying today? Oh wait, that's right. You don't care about polls anymore."

Another one added, "LOL, congress writes the laws and the rules of it's house. You are ignorant."

A commentator wrote, "41 per cent of Americans believe that humans and dinosaurs coexisted. This is what we're dealing with people, a country filled with mor**s."

"Dumber than bags of hammers ..." a person slammed.
