Kate Middleton reportedly spotted with William at Windsor farm shop appearing 'happy, healthy and relaxed'
WINDSOR, ENGLAND: Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, was reportedly sighted for the first time over the weekend since having scheduled stomach surgery, appearing 'happy, healthy and relaxed' on her visit to a Windsor farm shop.
Kate and Prince William were reportedly spotted in Windsor at one of their favorite locations, around a mile from their Adelaide Cottage on Saturday, March 16.
In an additional boost, Kate and William witnessed children Louis, 5, Charlotte, 8, and George, 10, participate in sports in the morning, as reported by The Sun.
The reported sightings arrive amid rumors and slander about her well-being and whereabouts, leaving the royal couple 'devastated'. In addition, Kate faced stinging criticism for using Photoshop to alter a Mother's Day photo.
Source claimed Kate Middleton 'looked happy and well'
The British public, who have been becoming more worried about the Princess' health amid a wave of speculative chatter about her unidentified ailment, will receive a much-needed boost from the sighting at The Windsor Farm Shop.
The couple was spotted by a witness, who told The Sun: "After all the rumors that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well."
"The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops," the source added.
Although the pair choose to maintain their privacy as Kate recovers, no photos were taken of them; however, their reported presence is a positive indication that the Princess has begun returning to public royal engagements.
The Princess—who completed her final public engagement on Christmas Day at Sandringham—is anticipated to resume her public duties on April 17, the day her kids return from the Easter break at Lambrook School.
However, there are rumors that Kate might return sooner and even be spotted at the yearly Easter Matins ceremony at St. George's Chapel on the Windsor estate, per Daily Mail.
As reported by the Telegraph, the Princess has not ruled out returning to the public spotlight on Easter Sunday; she might accompany her family on the customary photo-ops walk around.
There has been "no confirmation either way," a royal source told the newspaper, adding that anything more was conjecture.
Kate Middleton spotted leaving Windsor Castle with Prince William
There have been rumors of an early return and Kate's sighting in Windsor shortly after the Princess was seen with Prince William in the back of a car as they left Windsor Castle on Monday, March 11.
While Kate was on her route to a 'private appointment', per Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales was heading to Westminster Abbey for the yearly Commonwealth Day service.
Experts suggested that the Princess of Wales' pictures showing her leaving Windsor Castle with Prince William were a bid by the Palace to demonstrate that "she's up and about" in response to criticism over her altered Mother's Day photo.
Kate was seen leaving Windsor Castle with her husband only hours after apologizing for digitally altering a family portrait that was released on Sunday, March 10. Because of the changes, many credible agencies issued a kill notice on the photo.
They had driven off the grounds of Windsor Castle in a blue Range Rover, which dropped William off at the Abbey without her, and Kate had peered out of her window watching William seemingly read some notes on his phone.
According to royal analyst Michael Cole, Kate's visit is a 'pretty obvious attempt to move the story on' and to demonstrate she is 'up and about'.
