ROME, GEORGIA: Marjorie Taylor Greene is currently serving as the Congresswoman for Georgia District 14. She has recently posted polls for the state of Georgia on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, with less than a year remaining until the 2024 Presidential elections.

The polls in question involved a comparison between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in the states of Georgia and Michigan.

Marjorie Taylor Greene attributed these polls to CNN, a news outlet she recently accused of disseminating falsehoods about Trump, referring to them as "rolling out lies."

Despite the Republican congresswoman's efforts to dominate social media with these polls indicating Trump's lead over Biden, the online community remains unconvinced, asserting that these numbers are deemed to be inconsequential and "mean nothing."

On X, congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, “Georgia is Trump country!! Northwest Georgia will deliver the state for President Trump in 2024 and push him over 270!”

According to the poll, former President Donald Trump garnered 50% support in Michigan and 49% in Georgia, while President Joe Biden received 40% in Michigan and 44% in Georgia.

Greene further disseminated a more detailed poll from 'Interactive Polls' on X, attributing the data source to CNN. In her message, she greeted her followers with a "Good Morning" along with an American flag emoji.

Internet reacts to polls shared by Marjorie Taylor Greene

As the republican congresswoman shared recent CNN polls highlighting Donald Trump's lead over President Joe Biden in Michigan and Georgia, the internet swiftly responded.

Not everyone aligned with Greene's assertion that "Georgia is Trump country," revealing diverse opinions on the presented poll data.

One user wrote, “Note: Those numbers are only of ones asked…They mean nothing anyway. #VOTE”

Another wrote, “Elected Maga House & Influencers are doing their best. To convince the world Trump has won the 2024 election. The only way Trump wins is women, Gen Z, Moderate Republicans, Civil Rights Advocates & Independent voters DO NOT VOTE.”

“Sir, that math ain't mathing. 🤭” wrote one user, while another mocked, saying, “And the Earth is flat... 🤡”

People continued to shut down claims made by Greene on social media as one user wrote, “It amuses me how much you all still get behind polls when they've consistently been wrong. I'm still waiting for that so-called red wave😂.”

Another user wrote, “Keep dreaming.”
