Kenya Moore is still a 'hopless' romantic who believes in happily ever after
The reality star also reveals that she is still a “hopeless romantic” who believes that her forever person exists and knows "I'll have my happily ever after ending after all.”
Moore termed her split as the "world's longest divorce" on January 4 on 'Watch What Happens Live' since her initial filing was in May 2021.
She and Daly “unfortunately” had not signed a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot and that the divorce was not about alimony or child support. Kenya Moore and Marc Daly married in June 2017 and had their daughter, Brooklyn, a year later in 2018.
They separated for the first time in late 2019 and confirmed their second split in early 2021.
Moore, as per court documents, was living a “bonafide state of separation” since September 2019 and that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
'I felt like my voice was stifled', says Kenya Moore on her differences with Marc Daly
She also opened up about the challenges of working through their differences on 'RHOA' in January and how she felt like her voice was stifled in the marriage. "It was a struggle just to work through our differences even during the show," she revealed.
The reality TV star added, "A lot of it was exposed, just how we weren't getting along or weren't on the same page."
"As I said before, I felt like my voice was stifled a lot because I felt like I had to be a certain kind of wife to get along with him and his personality," she further said, adding "That's not what a marriage is about."
