NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Laura Ingraham recently shared her take on the ongoing hospitalization of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and questioned why no one noticed his absence at work on ‘The Ingraham Angle.'

Reportedly, Ingraham criticized Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and the White House, referring to Austin as an "invisible general," highlighting their failure to acknowledge his absence.

The host took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her perspective on this news. However, the internet did not respond positively to her remarks.

Laura Ingraham calls Lloyd Austin an ‘invisible general’

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “While the Biden administration can't keep track of Defense Secretary, Putin and Xi track every stumble of Biden.”

In her monologue, Ingraham said, “Look, we're running a television show, not the Pentagon, but if anyone on my senior staff was missing for four days, we'd all know about it within, what? Maybe 12 hours? Now, why?”

“Because, first of all, we care about each other and also because we're in near-constant communication and because each staffer is really important to our daily production.”

She continued, “But Lloyd Austin is the secretary of defense, the top official in a 2.8 million person department. He disappears for four days and no one even notices it.”

Ingraham further said, “Now, the headlines on this story mainly focus on the fact that the Pentagon didn't inform people, but I think more significant is that no one seemed to notice him gone.”

“Not the national security adviser, Jake Sullivan. Not the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, not senior White House personnel, and not the president of the United States. Well, of course, he was busy getting sunburned in the Caribbean,” Ingraham stated, slamming the officials.

“But imagine disappearing from your office and the people you deal with on a daily basis don't even notice for days.”

Ingraham exclaimed, “So, the only conclusion here is that Austin is not in regular communication with any of these people. Let's call him the invisible general.”

“Well, I can tell you who did notice that our DOD chief was gone: Putin and Xi. How embarrassing because we know they track every step, every stumble of Biden and his team.”

“This isn’t how a real superpower behaves and a real president would react to such a dereliction of duty this way either. But Biden is standing by his man."

"A White House official confirming to Fox that President Biden is not considering firing defense secretary Lloyd Austin and that the president would not accept the resignation of Austin if he were to offer one,” Ingraham said.

Internet calls Laura Ingraham a ‘joke’

Many X users took a brutal jab at Laura Ingraham after she called Lloyd Austin an “invisible general.”

One person said, “Rag 'journalist' grifter.  I really have to say, to most of us that would be completely depressing.  But we have self-respect,” and another wrote, “Lady, You’re such a joke!”

An X user simply slammed Ingraham saying, “Laura Ingram is a disgrace how she still has a job amazes me how much does Trump pay her?” and another wrote, “Resting bitch face says what?”

One more mocked Ingraham, stating, “No just stupid you totally incompetent and a very expensive commentator for Fox.”
