Far-right activist and conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer is not new to creating headlines. The 31-year-old has made a name for herself for her unfaltering support of former President Donald Trump and her controversial views. Having said that, she has also caught the eye of the fashion police for her not-so-flattering sartorial choices. Here are five instances when her outfits completely missed the mark.

1. Laura Loomer's red look for Policon 2018

Laura Loomer's outfit of choice for Politicon 2018 was a red mini dress that she paired with translucent tan-colored mules. While the dress was fine, the event did not align with the look, as it gave more of a date night vibe. Moreover, to match her idol Donald Trump's classic red and blue combination, Loomer painted her nails in an electric blue color to show her solidarity. Her choice of accessory, a black embroidered clutch, did little to improve the overall look.

2. Laura Loomer's look for Student Action Summit in 2019

At this point, it would be safe to say that Loomer tries her best to pull off an outfit, but more often than not, misses the mark by a slight margin. While attending the Student Action Summit in 2019, Loomer opted for the classic combination of black and gray but failed to hit the bull's eye due to choosing the wrong fit. Her attire also looked like it was haphazardly assembled as she paired a pair of leggings with a fitted hip-length blazer. Furthermore, she wore an uninspiring pair of black mules with charcoal gray socks that clashed with her black leggings and shoes. Loomer could have easily made a fashion statement had she swapped her fitted blazer for a more casual and oversized coat and opted for boots with longer shafts. The slight changes would have given her attire the much-required sophistication and style.

3. Colorblocking went wrong in a Jexit event in 2020

Loomer's gray tweed jacket made a reappearance the next year when she pulled off an outfit with too many mismatched colors thrown together. For a "Jexit" event, Loomer opted for a black-and-red boat-neck top paired with dark blue skinny jeans. Over her Captain Jean-Luc Picard's red-and-black color scheme-inspired top, she wore her gray blazer. It is only natural that Loomer - who made a name for herself by becoming a staunch Trump supporter would prefer 'Star Trek' as Mark Hamill - an actor with the fantasy series' arch nemesis 'Star Wars' - has been a vocal Trump critic. Loomer opted for a pair of white loafers that ultimately created a sense of disbalance in her outfit.

4. Laura Loomer's 'Star Trek' inspired outfit for a photo op

Loomer wore another 'Star Trek'-inspired costume, channeling her inner Dr Beverly Crusher for a photo op with her idol Donald Trump. For the futuristic space suit-inspired look, the far-right activist wore a pair of black jeans with fur-lined boots and a blue and black color-blocked jumper. She also sported a blue beanie emblazoned with Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.

5. Laura Loomer's obsession with Trump shirts

Loomer once famously claimed, "I enjoy being a human billboard and I LOVE President Trump!" as per Nicki Swift. Since then, the internet personality has left no stones unturned to prove her point. During a photo op with Trump, Loomer opted for a black shirt that boldly declared, "Donald Trump did nothing wrong." She paired it with blue shorts and accessorized with a Gucci belt. While she could have drawn the line here, Loomer went overboard with her desire to be a "human billboard" as she sported a white cap emblazoned with the number "47." The number signifies her support for Trump, whom she wants to see as the 47th president of the United States.
