LONDON, UK: It has been alleged that the Princess of Wales was forced to reveal she was undergoing cancer treatment after someone leaked the news of her diagnosis. Per recent reports, media contacted Kensington Palace about the diagnosis, forcing the Firm to adopt urgent measures to get ahead of the story.

The Palace shared the information with the public on March 22 via a video message from the princess herself.

An insider told the Daily Mail, “Whatever the reason, the universal acclaim heaped on Kate confirmed it was the right decision.”

King Charles didn't mention family's health issues in Easter speech

In King Charles' pre-recorded Easter speech, he didn’t mention anything about his family's health, including his own cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The King instead emphasized the relevance of acts of friendship "especially in a time of need" in the personal message broadcast on Thursday, March 28.

He was absent from the Royal Maundy Service, where Queen Camilla filled in for her husband.

In a video post shared by Kate on her Instagram account, she talked about how they were all shocked to find out about cancer after her abdominal surgery.

Though the form of cancer has not been disclosed, the princess began a course of 'preventative chemotherapy' late in February.

Chemotherapy is a potent cancer treatment that utilizes medication to target and destroy cancer cells. In contrast, preventative chemotherapy, also known as adjuvant therapy, is employed to minimize the likelihood of cancer recurrence or metastasis.

Speaking on TMZ’s new documentary 'Where Is Kate Middleton?’, Dr George Crawford speculated about what could be the real issue that forced the Princess to go under the knife in January 2024.

Weighing in on the social media speculation, Crawford said that considering Kate's age, it is likely to be either ovarian or uterine cancer. Meanwhile, several other theories have also been floated since the royal's operation.

Internet wants people to respect Kate's privacy

Reports about the Princess of Wales' health issues being leaked to the press have concerned royal family enthusiasts.

One reflected, “The media are at the bottom of all this. Perhaps leave her alone for a while so she can get better.”

“It was quite obvious that Catherine had been ‘forced” to speak out, probably before she had had time to come to terms with her diagnosis herself. These continuing articles are not helping the situation,” a second added.

A third wrote online, “Her hand was forced before she was ready out of fear her medical records would be sold and released by the press, before she had a chance to make her own statement.”

Another added, “If anyone wants to keep medical issues private then their wishes should be respected.”

A user questioned, “Would everyone here like their private medical notes splattered around the world???”

“KP must stop covering up, and start telling the public the truth!” one person said.
