LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Liam Payne’s untimely death at 31 has left fans heartbroken, but the moments before the singer’s fatal plunge from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony are deeply disturbing.

Payne, a former One Direction member, made a chilling confession to a stranger just minutes before his tragic fall, saying, “I used to be in a boy band. That’s why I’m so f*****d up,” sparking questions about his state of mind during his final hours, as reported by Daily Mail.

Liam Payne last interacted with American IT consultant Rebecca in Buenos Aires

Rebecca, an IT consultant from Washington DC, became one of the last people to interact with Liam Payne before his death.

In an exclusive interview, Rebecca shared the haunting details of her encounter with the singer at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. According to her account, Payne was exhibiting “disturbing and weird behavior” during their brief meeting, leaving her shaken.

Rebecca described how Payne, who had been staying at the hotel with a small entourage, initiated a conversation with her and a group of friends. Without prompting, he introduced himself, seemingly desperate for recognition.

Rebecca noted that she and her friends weren’t initially aware of who Payne was, but his behavior quickly grabbed their attention.

In a bizarre display, Payne invited them into the hotel elevator, making inappropriate comments. “He said, ‘Yes, I’m Liam!’ and then, ‘All right, come on you lot, get in the elevator with me, I love a cuddle.’” Rebecca chose to stay behind, but a few others joined him.

The interaction soon took a darker turn. Payne, seemingly agitated, grabbed a woman in the elevator and pretended to choke her.

Rebecca recalled the unsettling moment: “He started fake choking her, only lightly, but the others thought it was really disturbing.”

Liam Payne’s outburst reportedly shocked other hotel guests and staff

Liam Payne’s erratic behavior didn’t stop there. After the elevator incident, Rebecca returned to the hotel lobby and witnessed another troubling episode.

Payne appeared again, this time with his laptop, which he casually dangled from one corner. Rebecca observed Payne acting agitated while reading emails. She noticed something odd about how his computer was set up, describing it as being in an accessibility setting for the visually impaired.

“I have a blind relative, so I knew what was going on. The laptop was speaking aloud, and Payne seemed to want attention from everyone around,” she explained.

However, things took a dramatic turn when Payne opened an email that visibly upset him. “Suddenly, he shouted, ‘F**k this s**t mate!’ and started bashing the computer on the ground,” Rebecca recalled.

Payne’s outburst shocked the other hotel guests and staff, who were left confused and concerned by the erratic display.

“It’s a high-end hotel, and his behavior was so out of place. People were just chilling,” Rebecca said.

Despite the disruption, Rebecca approached Payne to check on him, asking, “Are you OK?” Payne’s response was chilling: “I used to be in a boy band. That’s why I’m so f*****d up.”

Payne’s struggle with fame and its impact on his mental health became painfully apparent during this encounter. Although Rebecca and the other bystanders were left uneasy, Payne’s entourage didn’t seem to be doing much to intervene.

One of the men with Payne, a British individual whom Rebecca believed to be named Roger, later approached her to apologize.

“I’m sorry, he just gets so high sometimes,” Roger reportedly told her, further fueling speculation about Payne’s mental state and possible substance use.
