BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Liam Payne's fans blocked paparazzi with hands and backpacks as they tried to click pictures of Liam Payne's father, Geoff, who arrived in Argentina after his son's untimely demise.

Liam died of multiple traumas and 'internal and external hemorrhage' on Wednesday, October 16, after his body was found in the internal courtyard of the hotel. He reportedly fell from the 3rd-floor balcony of his room.

Liam Payne’s fans block paparazzi to protect his father’s privacy

A clip has gone viral on social media where fans of Liam Payne are seen 'blocking' the paparazzi with hands and backpacks, while they try to click pictures of Geoff Payne who is seen getting out of his taxi and into the hotel.

A Liam fan took to social media platform X and wrote, "Liam's fans are fighting with the paparazzi to protect his privacy at this time, putting up their hands and backpacks so they can't take pictures."



 

A fan also wrote, "They need to be breaking the paparazzis cameras atp. Let his family/ friends, etc, grieve and have some privacy during this very difficult time" while one added, "The fans fought the press and paparazzi trying to protect Liam's dad and the sanctuary. They're still with their hands up in the air trying to block the press from filming inside the hotel. So much love and respect for them."



 



 

TMZ faces backlash for publishing pictures of Liam Payne's dead body

TMZ faced backlash from several Liam Payne fans as the outlet published photos of the singer's body following his tragic death in Argentina.

The news website allegedly posted pictures of Liam's dead body that showed the late singer's arm and waist with his tattoos visible. TMZ also shared a picture of a police tent erected over the singer's body, per a Mirror report.

TMZ wrote, "TMZ obtained a photo showing Liam's body on a wooden deck at the hotel with tables and chairs nearby. We're not showing the whole body, but you can clearly see his tattoo - a clock on his left forearm, and a scorpion on his abdomen."

As soon as the media outlet posted the picture, Liam Payne's fans called out the news website. A user wrote on X, "Why TMZ thought it would be a good idea to show that is beyond me. Disgraceful."



 

A person also wrote, "TMZ shame on you. Imagine being the friend or family of someone that’s passed and seeing that. Absolutely disgraceful," whereas one added, "TMZ has no shame, no respect, they’re literally the worst media outlet. it’s disgusting."



 



 

Another user mentioned on X, "TMZ are absolutely disgusting for publishing something like that!" while one wrote, "I hope TMZ is insanely ashamed. that was an outrageous thing to do."
