WASHINGTON, DC: The New York Times revealed on Wednesday, June 19, that former President Donald Trump is already preparing the grounds for his complaint that the next presidential debate is rigged against him, stated Raw Story.

Notably, at his most recent campaign speech in Racine, Wisconsin, Trump made this clear to his supporters. According to Shawn McCreesh, Trump instructed his supporters to be "suspicious of the whole debate enterprise, although his campaign negotiated the terms of his participation."

McCreesh further reported that Trump remarked, "They should keep in mind that I'll be up against multiple adversaries at once — not just Mr. Biden, but also CNN's moderators, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, who, Trump added, he believed were incapable of treating him fairly. 'I'll be debating three people instead of half of a person.'"

Furthermore, the report noted that Trump and his allies had spent months portraying Biden as mentally weak and incapable of performing simple tasks. Therefore, if Biden were to challenge this notion energetically during the debate, Trump would risk being perceived as the debate's loser.

The report stated, "The expectations game is a particular challenge for the Trump campaign. Mr. Trump, 78, has spent months casting the 81-year-old Mr. Biden as a husk of a man who can barely walk or formulate complete sentences. Republicans have pumped out a stream of videos of Mr. Biden walking stiffly — some deceptively edited — that are meant to be proof of Mr. Biden’s decline."

It added, "But Mr. Trump was also preparing for his caricature of Mr. Biden to be punctured next week. He openly wrestled with the obvious question: What if Mr. Biden clears the very low bar that Mr. Trump has now set for him?"

The debate is notably scheduled to take place in Atlanta next week. According to experts, Republicans may have been trying to create circumstances that would lead Trump to withdraw from the debate altogether.

Donald Trump criticized for claiming upcoming presidential debate is rigged against him

Many internet users mocked Donald Trump as he complained about the upcoming presidential debate being rigged against him.

A user wrote on X, "True to form, lies are all he has, what a pathetic loser," while one added, "Trump already setting up to chicken out of the debates. Coward Trump."

A person also stated, "Trump's team wants a face-saving way out of this fiasco and is running out of time," whereas one mentioned, "He might just have to back out since the debate is rigged according to him."

A user also wrote, "He might attend the debate, but I guarantee you he'll be whining as soon as it's over about them cutting his time short & muting his mic, as well as accuse them of giving Biden extra time & not muting his mic," while one commented, "Of course, he did. Everything is rigged unless or until he wins. He's such a predictable, petty loser."
