Mama June and family pay respects to Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell at her public funeral after death at 29
GORDON, GEORGIA: Family, friends, and loved ones gathered on Wednesday to bid a final farewell to Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, the reality star and mother of two who tragically lost her battle with cancer at the age of 29.
The emotional funeral service took place at the Williams White-Columns Funeral Home in Gordon, Georgia, bringing together members of the Shannon family, including "Mama June" Shannon and Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.
A solemn gathering to celebrate Anna's life
The funeral service, held just four days after Anna's death, was marked by a solemn atmosphere as attendees paid their respects. Guests were greeted by Anna's family in the small lobby of the funeral home, where a sign requested attendees to refrain from using cell phones during the service.
Alana, 18, was spotted outside the building alongside her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, ahead of the service. The family provided a program to attendees, memorializing Anna with a poignant poem and a photograph. In the program, the late reality star was referred to as Anna Marie Toney.
The service was held only four days after Anna's death, which followed a battle with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, which she was diagnosed with in January.
As part of the service's program, a poem and photograph were dedicated to the late reality star.

Anna's final chapter and marriage
Anna's courageous battle with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma began in January, and she passed away on December 9. The day after her death, it was revealed that Anna had secretly married her partner, Eldridge Toney, on March 4, in Wilkinson County, Georgia.
The ceremony was officiated by Josh Efird, Anna's brother-in-law and the husband of Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon.
Two days before the funeral, Mama June extended an open invitation to the public to attend the service, sharing details on Instagram and expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support. Anna, the eldest of Mama June's daughters, gained fame through appearances on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' and 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo'.
Anna is survived by her mother, siblings, husband Eldridge Toney, and their two children, Kaitlyn, 10, and Kylie, 7. The funeral service provided an opportunity for those close to Anna to remember and celebrate her life amid the grieving process.
