On Wednesday, Carey, 55, took to Instagram to unveil two new covers for the anniversary re-release. One of the covers is a striking homage to the original, where the pop icon dons a Santa Claus-inspired red jumpsuit, much like she did in the 1994 shoot. This time, Carey poses on a plush fur couch, giving the classic cover a modern update.
In her caption, Carey teased fans, saying, "While it is definitely not time to listen to Christmas music yet‼️ I wanted to share a glimpse of #MerryChristmas30 with you!" She also announced that these revamped cover arts will appear on two of the four new physical singles—one for a seven-inch vinyl and another for a cassette edition.
