PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA: Mark Consuelos made a lucky woman's day by hilariously launching an errant golf ball in her approximate direction on national television during the 'Live With Kelly and Mark' show.

Consuelos and his wife and co-host Kelly Ripa adapted to the morning talk show's temporary move to the sunny greens of the Westin Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, California.

The couple has been married since 1996 and they have three adult children together -- Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21. They first met in 1995 while appearing on 'All My Children', according to Newsweek.

Mark Consuelos almost hits woman with flying golf ball

The 53-year-old co-host was demonstrating his swing on the Palm Springs golf course on the Tuesday, November 12, episode of 'Live With Kelly and Mark' when he noticed a woman directly in his path.

Consuelos remarked, "Don't make fun of me, please," before leaving the co-host table to take his shot on the golf course. He paused for a moment to advise a woman who was not paying attention to avoid the line of fire, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Lady! Hey, lady! Hey, lady! Watch out!" Consuelos shouted. While observing from the sidelines, his wife Ripa couldn't help but say, "Oh my gosh, there is a lady. You're supposed to yell, 'Fore!' Even I know you yell, 'Fore!'"

Then, as the woman appeared to move after Consuelos said that she should "get out of the way" before he whacked the club, the 'Live' crowd yelled, "Fore!" in unison.

The show cut to a pre-recorded close-up of a ball entering the designated hole, and Consuelos leaped shortly after hitting the ball.

"Did you hit that lady that was actually golfing?" Ripa asked her husband, who came back to sit next to her. "I almost hit that lady. She almost owns the Westin, yes," he chucklingly admitted.

Consuelos' strong stroke is the most recent in his expanding list of acknowledged "alpha" achievements on the show.

Kelly Ripa recalls Mark Consuelos' 'alpha' actions on a crowded flight

Mark Consuelos frequently displays his strength on 'Live' but his wife and co-host Kelly Ripa recounted an instance where he also displayed his "alpha" traits during a particular situation on an airplane.

Ripa recently revealed that her husband once securely moved an airline passenger's "man purse" so she could keep her carry-on bags in the overhead compartment during a trip.

"We got on the flight, and I don't know what was going on, there was hardly anybody on the plane, hardly any people on this plane," she said in October.

She laid the groundwork for the ultimate turmoil that would break out when Consuelos added that suddenly "like, 20 people got on this plane" before them, per Entertainment Weekly.

After remembering that "every overhead compartment was occupied" and "it was as if people were bringing on extra bags and putting them everywhere," Ripa turned to Consuelos and said, "You took out a man's man purse."

"Mark took it out, put it between his legs, put my suitcase up there, and he goes, 'Is this somebody's bag?'" she added.

Consuelos laughed and said, "I didn't even ask him," acknowledging that he had just "shamed him into doing that, like, put it under the seat."

The move "was very alpha," Ripa said, although she did not use that term initially, "I almost used another word that they'd probably bleep."
