WASHINGTON, DC: Trumpworld on Friday, May 24, claimed that around 25,000 people attended Donald Trump's Bronx rally on Thursday, May 23, despite the New York Times report stating that they acquired a permit for an event for 3,500 people, according to Daily Beast.

Notably, the Trump campaign claimed that 25,000 people attended the 'electrifying' event, according to a Right Side Broadcasting Network post that Trump, who has long been fixated on crowds at his rallies, published to his Truth Social account.

The article stated, "The sheer numbers show the great enthusiasm that President Trump has gained among voters in even the bluest areas of the United States."

Subsequently, that number surfaced on Fox News, was disseminated on other MAGA social media accounts, and also surfaced on the Republican Party's official X account.

However, the event's overhead pictures painted a different image. A somewhat smaller gathering was visible in the Crotona Park amphitheater during ABC7's broadcast of the event.

Moreover, a reporter from The Daily Beast who was present claimed that there were around 1,000 individuals in the throng, despite law authorities telling the New York Post that there were between 8,000 and 10,000 people present.

Notably, Trump has a notoriously sensitive nature when it comes to the size of his inauguration crowds, especially after photographs of his sparsely populated inaugural event went viral.

Moreover, after maintaining that Trump had 'the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period, both in person and around the globe', Sean Spicer, the former press secretary for the White House under Trump, was made fun of.

Internet trolls Trump campaign as they claim 25,000 people attended Bronx rally

People on the internet trolled Trump's campaign as they claimed that about 25,000 people attended Donald Trump's Bronx rally.

A user posted on X, "You mean 2500?" while another added, "And Trump invited two people on stage who have been indicted on murder conspiracy charges. Shameful."

A person stated, "Fact's more lies from the GOP more like maybe 600 people", whereas one mentioned, "Can I borrow the guy doing your crowd counting? I have some traffic studies we want to super-over-inflate and need some pointers."

A user also wrote, "What a bizarre transformation for this cult. Isn’t it time to drink that kool-aid?" while another stated, "Won't it be funny if that is the only state he is allowed to campaign in because he is a felon."
