Michael Strahan uploads cryptic Instagram story as he returns to 'GMA' after hiatus over 'family matter'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'GMA' co-host Michael Strahan uploaded a cryptic post as his Instagram story on December 19, after being absent from the show the previous day.
The recent development took place after the 51-year-old was on an extended hiatus for nearly three weeks back in November, on account of a "personal family matter," according to People.

The post which caught the attention of netizens featured a picture of the media personality smiling at the camera, sporting a white t-shirt.
It was accompanied by a quote that read, "We're our own worst enemy. You doubt yourself more than anybody else ever will. If you can get past that, you can be successful."
"The person who is hardest on you is usually yourself," added the former NFL star, along with the tags, "#MondayMotivation" and "#RaiseYourGame."
According to Hello! Magazine, the quote is attributed to Strahan himself and was originally posted by his entertainment agency, SMAC Entertainment.

The Monday episode saw Robin Roberts lead the show, with guest co-hosts Linsey Davis and Whit Johnson filling in for Strahan and Stephanopoulos respectively.
However, The US Sun states that it is common for Strahan to miss out on Mondays, as he hosts Fox's NFL Sunday the night before in California. The reason for Stephanopoulos' absence has not been clarified.
Michael Strahan has become an empty nester
Strahan is the father of four adult children. He shares his two older children, Tanita, 31, and Michael Jr, 28, with his first wife Wanda Hutchins, to whom he was married from 1992 to 1996.
With his second wife Jean Muggli, to whom he was married from 1999 to 2006, Strahan shares 19-year-old twins Isabella and Sophia.
The twins got enrolled at college back in August, reported Hello! Magazine, leaving Strahan alone at home.
Isabella has been studying at the University of Southern California, while Sophia is pursuing her studies at Duke College in North Carolina.
Speaking of their decision to go to separate colleges, Strahan had stated that the colleges that the twins got into were their first choices and that he was "very proud of them" and "a happy father."
