Mindy Kaling shares a delicious soup recipe
Mindy Kaling started her Instagram cooking video by saying, “So this is exciting. You need basil for this recipe and I have two basil plants."
The 45-year-old then quipped, “I’m freaking Meghan Markle over here," as she talked about her cooking experience.
Kaling's comments about Markle came as the Duchess of Sussex is widely known for her cooking skills, especially for brining a turkey for Thanksgiving when she collaborated with the Hubb Community Kitchen on a fundraising cookbook earlier, reported People.
Kaling continued to guide the viewers over Maxine Sharf’s recipe, and after tasting the soup, she chimed, “Maybe the best thing I’ve ever made and it was so easy to make. I cannot wait to have a giant bowl of this, curl up on the sofa, watching Menendez murder show and just have the best freaking autumn of my life.”
'The Office' alum captioned her video post with, "There’s a silent community of people who love soup all year long and we can only emerge when it’s seasonly appropriate so here is a soup video in honor of 'fall' but really I’m just a soup head. Recipe courtesy of my #1 @maxiskitchen."
