BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: Natania Reuben, a victim of the 1999 nightclub shooting involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and rapper Shyne, recently revealed that she had to flee Brooklyn due to a contract on her life.

Reuben, who survived a gunshot wound to the face, detailed her harrowing experience in an interview, emphasizing the lasting impact on her life.

Reuben recounted how the incident started with a dispute involving Diddy and his crew, sparked by Brooklyn drug dealer Matthew "Scar" Allen.

The altercation escalated, leading to Diddy and Shyne drawing guns and firing indiscriminately inside the club. While Shyne was convicted of the shooting, Diddy and his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, were acquitted of weapons charges.

Reuben and the other victims filed a $130 million civil lawsuit, which Diddy eventually settled. Reuben received approximately $1.8 million, while the other two victims were compensated $500,000 and $50,000, respectively. Despite the settlement, Reuben has consistently maintained that Diddy was the one who shot her.

She claimed that the District Attorney's office received information about a contract on her life, prompting her to leave Brooklyn for her safety.

In her interview with 'The Art of Dialogue,' Reuben said, “I’m a Brooklyn girl; I was born and raised in Brooklyn. When the District Attorney’s office gets information from one of their confidential informant sources saying that there’s a bag on my head... I had businesses; I was a business owner. Why would I pick up and just leave everything I knew but for the fact that my life depended on it?”

The threats and subsequent relocation highlight the intense danger Reuben faced. She also mentioned that Scar was similarly targeted and eventually killed in 2011, a decade after the shooting incident.

According to a 2001 ABC News report, lawyers for both Scar and Diddy claimed the men believed there were bounties on their heads. Diddy’s lawyer revealed that his client received a phone call about a plot to kill him and an associate of Scar’s was allegedly seen monitoring Diddy’s security movements.

Prosecutor Matthew Bogdanos stated that a former Bad Boy employee attempted to bribe Scar with a $250,000 offer but planned to kill him when he collected the money. Scar, fearing retaliation, refused to testify.

He was later shot and killed outside a Brooklyn nightclub in December 2011, in a murder ordered by rival drug dealer Roger "Luchie" Key.

Sean "Diddy" Combs faces new allegations in a lawsuit claiming he coerced former porn star Adria English into sex trafficking at his renowned Hamptons parties.

English, also known as Omunique, asserts that Diddy "groomed" her for sex trafficking during her time as a "go-go dancer" at his annual white party almost two decades ago.

In the complaint obtained by TMZ, English detailed her initial encounter with Diddy in 2004, which occurred while her then-boyfriend, model Anthony Gallo, was seeking a modeling job with Diddy’s brand, Sean John.

English alleges that she worked at Diddy's parties, where she was required to flirt with guests and consume beverages spiked with drugs like ecstasy.

English also claimed that Diddy asked her boyfriend and another model to perform sexual acts on him in exchange for job opportunities, which they declined.

Despite their rejection, English's boyfriend was reportedly given another chance if she agreed to perform as a “go-go dancer” at Diddy’s Hamptons party that year.

According to the lawsuit, English accepted the offer and alleges that Diddy subsequently "groomed" her into sex trafficking. She claimed that Diddy directed her to have sex with Jacob Arabov, known as 'Jacob the Jeweler.'
