Bromfield, 26, kissed him after joyfully accepting his proposal and showing off her dazzling engagement ring.

"'Engaged," Bromfield exclaimed in a celebratory clip shared with friends and family, while Lyles captioned his proposal video with a heartfelt message: "To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever."

The pair, who have been together since 2022 after years of intermittent communication, celebrated their engagement just months after competing in Paris. While Lyles' Olympic run was cut short due to Covid-19, his fiancee competed fiercely despite not winning any medal at the Games.

While Lyles didn’t go into detail about the alleged backlash, remarks from the 'Track World News' podcast hinted that the sprinter had some insider knowledge, as reported by Us Weekly.

Bromfield responded to Lyles’ supportive message, saying, “Thank you baby for always supporting long before we even started dating.”

Their love story has only blossomed in the months since, with the couple enjoying a romantic “baecation", attending New York Fashion Week, and catching major sporting events like the US Open and a Cardinals games.

With wedding bells on the horizon, it’s clear that Lyles and Bromfield are sprinting toward a future filled with love and success.
