NEVEDA, LAS VEGAS: A disturbing footage from a Las Vegas daycare is going viral as it shows the moment a teacher picks up and violently shakes a girl.

Footage from DJ's Christian Daycare shows 3-year-old Lilly Royal, allegedly being picked up and swung back and forth by an unidentified teacher on April 19, the Daily Mail reports.

Lilly Royal's parents say she was snatched up like 'ragdoll'

The incident was reported to the Henderson Police Department on the same day by another instructor, who then informed the young girl's parents, Kayla Zomerdyk and Nashawn Royal. Zomerdyk later said, "Obviously seeing my child get snatched up like a little ragdoll is obviously something you don’t want to see. It’s definitely going to make you upset."

She added, "They had the opportunity to be honest, upfront. Be accountable for everything that happened that day and prior, so they let that opportunity go." After the video went viral, the daycare center told 8NewsNow that the teacher had been fired. But that was not enough for the distressed parents.

The concerned mother said, "So firing the teacher for me is not justice, because they never fired the teacher until the video went viral." She added, "Justice for me is DJ's Christian Center getting completely shut down."

The school has also denied all claims of child abuse and when asked why the incident happened, said, "We're all human," according to the channel.

The teacher in question has not yet been charged or placed under arrest. The young girl's parents have also complained to Child Protective Services. According to the Henderson Police Department, an investigation is presently being conducted.

Internet outraged over video of toddler being 'physically disciplined'

Ever since the viral video was shared across social media platforms, several internet users expressed their outrage.

A user wrote on YouTube, "Very unholy." Another user wrote, "Yeah that's crazy." A user wrote, "When you work as a caregiver, in any capacity, that is child abuse. It is not your child to physically discipline and it is not professional to grab a child and shake them around…"

A user wrote, "She'll just go work at another School! She should not be around kids."

A user said, "Throw her behind bars." Another user said, "That is seriously disgusting ~ the evil that happens to innocent children????"

A user said, "I'm glad the father and mother are aware!" While a user said, "She should be in jail on child abuse charges, Completely unacceptable."
