OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN: Jennifer Crumbley's jury found the evidence too serious to not be considered after she was found guilty on all four counts of involuntary manslaughter.

On Tuesday, February 6th, the mother of the Oxford High School mass shooter was implored to become "the final adult with the gun."

Jennifer can be sentenced to up to 60 years

Jennifer Crumbley was described as a reckless and negligent mother during her trial. Her affair with a local fire captain also was disclosed in the hearings.

She is now potentially looking at a maximum of 60 years in prison as she awaits sentencing scheduled for April.

Meanwhile, her husband James is set to stand trial in March after opting for separate trials.

Their son, Ethan, carried out a shooting spree, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to others.

He is serving life in prison without parole after last year’s judgment.

On Tuesday, Judge Cherly Matthews admitted it was "the hardest thing you've ever done," reports DailyMail.

Ethan’s diary entries read, “My parents won't listen to me about help or therapist.”

“I have zero help for my mental problems and it's causing me to shoot up the f****** school,” another entry said.

Crumbley's claims they were a "close" family also came just a day after her extramarital affair was exposed in court.

Prosecutors argued she was concerned about her tryst with a fire captain Brian Meloche rather than her disturbed son.

Captain Brian Meloche, during the trial, admitted that she wanted to meet up on the morning of the shooting too, and they had been meeting regularly in a parking lot across from her work.

Crumbley slammed elementary school

In subsequent messages, Crumbley criticized school officials for their handling of a meeting held on the morning of November 30 regarding concerns raised about one of her son's drawings.

"They didn’t see him as a threat and decided he could stay in school, which is what he wanted to do,” the mother tried to explain. “His f**king backpack was with him, why didn’t they search it?"

She also noted that “no officer was notified, and apparently there were threats, and no one, not even us was notified.”
