STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA: Criminal charges have been filed against four fraternity members, accused of tossing a deceased longhorn onto the front yard of an Oklahoma State University fraternity house last month.

The individuals facing charges are Bennet Fady, 20, Luke Ackerley, 19, Andrew King, 19, and Brody Shelby, 19.

They have been charged with the misdemeanor of unlawful removal or disposal of a carcass.

It is noteworthy that all these men are affiliated with the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity at OSU, according to KOCO 5 News.

What happened at Oklahoma State University?

On the morning of December 1, the Stillwater Police Department received a dispatch to the FarmHouse Fraternity located near 3rd Avenue and Monroe Street.

The report indicated the presence of a deceased longhorn found on the fraternity's lawn, with an expletive branded on its side targeting the fraternity.

According to documents from the Payne County Court, surveillance footage from the FarmHouse fraternity revealed that at approximately 4.15 am, a white Ford pickup truck, towing a trailer with a seemingly lifeless longhorn, arrived at the front of the fraternity.

Three individuals, wearing hoods over their heads, were observed in the video assisting in unloading the longhorn from the trailer, while a fourth person drove the truck.

Unfortunately, no license plate information was captured by the surveillance video.

Neighbors informed law enforcement that typically there were three longhorns on the property, but on December 1, only two were observed.

Deputies from the Payne County Sheriff’s Office visited the property and discovered similar branding on livestock, along with a trailer that matched the one seen in the surveillance video.

The property owner later confirmed that the longhorn in question belonged to him.

According to court documents, members of the FarmHouse Fraternity speculated that the animal had been left by individuals from the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity as part of an ongoing "prank between them."

On December 6, a search warrant was executed at the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, where investigators obtained surveillance footage.

However, portions of the video were found to be missing from the time when the incident occurred.

Court records indicate that all four individuals pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier in the week. Their next court hearing on the matter is scheduled for March.
