LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reese Witherspoon recently set social media abuzz when the actress shared a video recipe for what she whimsically titled "Snow Salt Chococinno" on TikTok. Her frosty snack — featuring fresh powder topped with sweet syrups and coffee — promptly whipped fans into a frenzy, as per Daily Mail.

Many expressed shock over the star scooping up and eating potentially contaminated precipitation accumulated on her vehicle. Yet despite an icy reception from germaphobic commenters, Witherspoon remains undeterred in savoring dirty snow confections.

Reese Witherspoon details her cold weather concoction in viral TikTok

On Thursday, January 18, Witherspoon took to TikTok to detail the creation of her cold weather concoction. "We got a ton of snow over the past few days, so we decided to make a recipe," she explained in the now viral clip, which has earned millions of views.

Outfitted in a cozy cream cable knit sweater with her signature blonde locks flowing freely, Witherspoon first demonstrated scooping fresh snow into mugs using her bare hands. After packing the snow tightly into two cups, she drizzled salted caramel syrup and chocolate syrup over the mound of powder.

"We like how they taste together," she noted, stirring the mixture together. Witherspoon then topped off her snowy blend with a splash of cold brew "for a yummy coffee flavor."

After mixing up the curious combo, Witherspoon eagerly sampled a spoonful of snow. With eyes lighting up, she declared, "Oh my gosh, that’s so good!" She proudly christened her creation "Snow Salt Chococinno" and encouraged followers to give her recipe a try while snow is available.

Internet not thrilled with Reese Witherspoon's 'Snow Salt Chococinno'

Despite Witherspoon's enthusiasm, fans appeared less than thrilled with the unconventional "Snow Salt Chococinno." One skeptic commented, "Does she not know how much bacteria is in snow?" while another humorously remarked, "The way she’s just eating pollution slush puppies lmao."

A third user expressed concern about cleanliness, stating, "She’s cute, but this doesn’t seem very clean. A bird could have pooped in the ice pile." Echoing similar sentiments, another person quipped, "Bacteria / plastic / pollution / yea sounds great!"

Adding a touch of sarcasm, a fifth user wrote, "Yum dirty snowww," while a more straightforward comment came from a sixth user, who exclaimed, "Oh, that's dirty af."

Resse Witherspoon defends her unfiltered icy snack against critics

Far from backing down, Witherspoon staunchly defended her unfiltered icy snack in a follow-up video the next day. "It was delicious. It was so good!" she asserted with a laugh.

The 'Legally Blonde' actor went on to explain that she didn’t grow up drinking purified water, claiming she consumed straight from the tap as a child instead.

"Maybe that’s why I’m like this," Witherspoon quipped in response to the clean snow comments. "So what you’re saying to me is I have to filter the snow before I eat it? I just can’t. Filtered snow. I don’t know how to do that."

She capped off the video doubling down on her conviction that her snow cone was perfectly safe to eat. "You only live once and it snows maybe once a year here," she attested.
