OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN: Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson was caught in an embarrassing situation on live television after he failed to substantiate his allegation that 'Democrats have also used fake electors' with proof.

The 68-year-old Senator was in conversation with CNN's Kaitlan Collins on December 11 when she asked him about recent reports of Wisconsin's ten fake electors admitting their attempt to overturn the 2020 elections in favor of Donald Trump.

Johnson stated that there was nothing illegal in what the electors did and added that they "did nothing different than what many Democrats have done in many states."

Ron Johnson's futile try to prove the Democrats did the same

When the host emphasized that what the fake electors did was illegal and pointed out that they had acknowledged it, Johnson continued to insist that many Democrats did the same.

Collins asked for proof, "Which ones, sir?"

"I'm not prepared to give you the exact states," Johnson replied, "But it's happened repeatedly. It has happened repeatedly. Just go check the books."

When the host asked, "Which books?" the Senator was irritated and said the interview was not about the fake electors issue.

"There have been alternate slates of electors by Democrat electors in our history. Again, you didn't—this wasn't what this interview was going to be about," he griped. "I'll come and I'll provide you the information, but I'm absolutely certain about that," Johnson said.

The host had mentioned ten fake electors acknowledging Biden's 2020 victory, their attempt to topple the election, and their pledge not to serve in the 2024 election or any other election where Trump is on the ballot. However, one of these electors still serves on the state elections commission.

The host asked whether he should resign from the post "given the role he played in the fake elector sceheme."

He replied, "No. Again, there was an active court case. There were all kinds of irregularities in Wisconsin in the 2020 election. In order to make sure that the case just wasn't determined to be moot, they had to have an alternate slate of electors, just like Democrats have done repeatedly in all kinds of different states."

"There is nothing untoward about what they did. There is nothing illegal about what they did. They are just an alternate slate of electors."
