CARROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA: The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is looking for assistance from the public in locating a 46-year-old woman who has been reported missing.

The Sheriff's Office is urgently seeking any information regarding Samantha Tobert, whose family has had no contact with her for days, as per Fox5Atlanta.

Reports say Tolbert and X had history of domestic violence

Per the Sheriff's Office, there is a history of domestic violence between Samantha Tolbert and her ex-husband, Jerimmie, with the last filed report coming in November 2022.

On March 7, deputies responded to a suicide incident at an address on Tyus Carrollton Road, where Jerimmie was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, as stated by the sheriff's office.

Tolbert, described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, and with naturally red hair but dyed blond, is currently missing.

Ashley Hulsey, spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, expressed concern, stating, "I mean, when somebody goes completely missing after they have contact with their family and there's just not a lot of activity, I mean you fear the worst, but hope for the best."

Investigators indicate there is no evidence of Tolbert traveling in a car or using her phone.

Hulsey added, "We are not finding any record that her phone has been disconnected. We don't believe there's been any bank activity now in almost a month, so obviously, that's really concerning."

It remains unknown what she was wearing when she disappeared.

Authorities say all tips are important

Ashley Hulsey, spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, emphasized the importance of “all tips” regarding Samantha Tolbert's whereabouts, regardless of how insignificant they may seem.

Hulsey urged anyone who may have spoken with Samantha or knows people she associates with, especially in Carroll County and Randolph County, Alabama, to come forward with information.

In addition, a family friend, Miranda Spruill, echoed the plea for assistance, stressing the significance of even the smallest leads in bringing Samantha home safely.

Spruill expressed gratitude for the support received thus far and urged for continued prayers for Samantha's safe return.

She highlighted the diligent efforts of Detective Amber Cardell and her team from the Carroll County Sheriff's Department in investigating the case.

Anyone with information about Samantha Tolbert's location is urged to contact Carroll County Investigator Amber Cardell at 770-830-5916 or via email at acardell@carrollsheriff.com.
