FORT WORTH, TEXAS: A naked assailant in Texas fatally attacked a man delivering firewood to a residence, using the logs to beat him to death, according to court documents reported by Fox-4 Dallas news.

Scotty Jackson, aged 51, was discovered deceased in the front yard of a residence on Wendover Drive in Fort Worth on the night of Saturday, January 13. The cause of death was determined to be "severe blunt trauma" to the head and neck, Fox-4 Dallas Forth Worth reported.

Scotty Jackson was approached by naked man

Several individuals who reported an attack prompted a police response to the residence. While Jackson was delivering firewood purchased by the homeowner, the anonymous homeowner was confronted by a naked man displaying aggressive and violent behavior.

The nude individual was identified as 27-year-old Chrisantus Omondi, who was temporarily residing at an Airbnb on the same street, as revealed in an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 4.

Omondi purportedly approached Jackson and the homeowner, vehemently yelling at the homeowner for being "on his property" while brandishing a key.

"He never wants to see me again. I should leave," the homeowner recalled Omondi yelling. "[Jackson] then replied, ‘No, this is his property and his house. Just let us unload firewood because it’s cold outside."

The homeowner recounted that Omondi pushed him and subsequently, reportedly struck Jackson multiple times with a piece of wood. The assault culminated in Omondi dumping a wheelbarrow full of firewood on Jackson.

The homeowner's narrative found support from additional witnesses and video evidence, according to the police. Subsequently, the suspect pursued the homeowner into his residence before returning to Jackson and fatally assaulting him with the firewood.

"I really feel that he intended to kill us both," the homeowner said to FOX 4.

'I will beat your a**'

As per the arrest document, Omondi purportedly went back to the Airbnb where he was residing after the lethal attack. There, he allegedly threatened a woman who was engaged in laundry activities in a separate room.

The woman told police that Omondi was yelling, "I'll beat your a*s, I'm going to f**k you up," while trying to force his way into her room. She was able to get into a bathroom, where he was also trying to break into when police arrived.

While still naked and characterized as "non-compliant and aggressive," Omondi was instructed by the police to vacate the residence. He complied, albeit shouting at law enforcement during the process.

Ultimately, authorities resorted to using a taser to apprehend Omondi. He, with a criminal record, is currently detained at the Tarrant County Corrections Center following murder charges filed by Fort Worth police.

Additionally, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office has accused him of obstruction and aggravated assault of a security guard. The combined bond for all three charges stands at $312,000.
