LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez officially confirmed her relationship with Benny Blanco recently and sources are now spilling details about the duo's blossoming romance.

The 'Selfish Love' singer is "so proud to be with Benny" and "her family absolutely approves," according to an insider, reported OK Magazine.

Speaking about how Gomez has been feeling about her relationship, the source stated, "Selena hasn’t been this happy with someone she’s dated in a really long time. They make an adorable couple," and that she is in love.

"They both feel so good that it's all out there in the public," a second source admitted and shared that the 31-year-old singer finds her music producer boyfriend to be "hysterical."

She is also thrilled he gets along well with all of her friends.

The 'Wizards of Waverly Place' alum has been candid about her admiration for Blanco, even going to the extent of defending him against online critics who questioned her choice of men.

Gomez, who reportedly began dating Blanco in June, was accused of starting a new relationship due to a "lack of self-love" by a person "who doesn't know themselves."

"I don’t think he’s a bad guy, but he clearly said things in the past to hurt her. You don’t need to stop talking to the guy, but forgive him to the point of dating. I think it’s too much, this is a lack of self-love," read the troll.

The comment also dragged in a 2020 interview of Blanco seemingly snubbing Gomez while he was promoting his collaboration of 'Lonely' with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

"Oh sweetheart. I’ve been in therapy since I was 18. I know what’s best for me and I will fight till I get what I deserve/ I appreciate your misguided input but I’m growing," Gomez began her reply.

"Don’t feel free to grow with me just know I’m not going to be with a f*****y ever again. Sorry to disappoint," she added in response to the comment posted at the beginning of December.

She also responded to another user on social media as she said of her boyfriend, "He is my absolute everything in my heart. Then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end."

The then-rumored dating was confirmed after she posted a photo of herself on December 7 in which she is seen leaning against the shoulder of a man who was later revealed to be Blanco.
