Simone Biles’ younger sister Micah comes to their birth mother’s defense, claims she’s ‘not a bad person’

HOUSTON, TEXAS: Most decorated gymnast, Simone Biles' family drama took a new turn following a recent interview that her biological mother, Shanon Biles, gave, where she stated her intention to reunite with the Olympian.

Some fans have reacted negatively to Shanon, claiming that she has been attempting to detract from Simone's excellent performance in the recently concluded 2024 Olympics in Paris.

However, Simone's estranged younger sister, Micah Biles, has stepped up to counter criticism by providing an impassioned defense of their birth mother.

In a recent interview, Shanon Biles begged her daughter Simone Biles to pardon her and expressed her desire to get in touch with the gymnast soon.

Shanon told Daily Mail, "It was hard to give up my kids, but I had to do what I had to do."

Many of Simone's admirers took to social media after the interview went viral, supporting her choice to maintain her distance and casting doubt on her mother's choice to get back together amid her enormous summer of triumph.

However, another Biles daughter, Micah, has recently stood up for her mother, saying that Simone's fans ought to feel more compassion for their mother, who struggled with addiction for a large portion of her life.

Micah took to her TikTok account to stand up for Shanon.

"I want to come to this internet and defend my mom," Micah said at the beginning of her TikTok, obtained by TNT. "Because she might not be everything we expected her to be, but at the end of the day, she's still a work in progress, and we give her that."

She went on, "Simone chose not to have a relationship with my mom, and that's fine, that was her choice," noting that she herself didn't have a close connection with their mother until she was 17.

Micah added: "It was on and off because she was still dealing with what she was dealing with at the time. But I'm not going to let you all get on this internet and bash my mom, or say anything bad, or anything of that sort because she's not a bad person. She's done nothing to Simone. Life happened to her."

Shanon Biles expressed her desire to reunite with her famous daughter, Simone, claiming she has her number but won't use it since she wants Simone to get in touch with her if that's what she really wants.

Micah Biles made a passing allusion to her strained connection with Simone Biles when she observed that the elite athlete appeared to be unwilling to pursue a relationship with her.

According to Micah, the Biles siblings are said to be divided into three sets: Ashley, the oldest, has a father of her own. Kevin Clemons, the father of Tevin, Simone, and Adria, is likewise eager to get back together with Simone.

Taron, Shania, Micah, and Mariah Biles-Walker are all from separate fathers, as per The Blast.

Simone is still in contact with her younger sister Adria and her elder siblings but Micah hinted that she and Simone were estranged.

"I have my own problems with Simone, but I'm not going to get on this internet and do too much on that," Micah said.

She added, "Because I already tried, and y'all tried to fake a** bash me for that. So I'm not going to do that because y'all [are] trying to make it seem like, 'Oh, I'm just jealous' or whatever. But at the end of the day, I just wanted my sister."

Despite Micah Biles' appeal to fans to feel more compassion for their mother Shanon, social media users flocked to the comment section to show their support for Simone.
