RICHMOND HILL, GEORGIA: Two South Georgia men, Stephen Glosser, 37, and Caleb Kinsey, 34, have been indicted on federal charges for allegedly conspiring to carry out extreme acts aimed to "kill, intimidate, harass or injure" a woman and her child.

The charges result from a startling incident that transpired in February 2023 when the pair was arrested for plotting to feed the child to a python and in connection with a home explosion that occurred the month before.

2 men arrested in connection with home explosion

The explosion, later determined to be caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) comprised of a binary explosive compound, led to Glosser's local apprehension, while Kinsey reportedly fled and was later arrested in Louisiana.

The woman and child had moved into the home just one day before the explosion, and police reveal that the woman had a prior relationship with one of the two men, reported WJCL.

What are the charges against the suspects?

The US Attorney's Office Southern District of Georgia confirmed on Thursday, March 7, that Glosser and Kinsey are facing charges including stalking, use of an explosive to commit another felony offense, conspiracy to use an explosive to commit a felony, and possession of an unregistered destructive device.

Kinsey also faces charges of false statements during the purchase of a firearm and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Authorities uncover disturbing details in Georgia plot

According to authorities, the pair allegedly placed the victim under surveillance with the sinister intent to "kill, injure, harass, or intimidate."

The disturbing plot involved planning various extreme methods, such as shooting arrows into the victim's front door, releasing a large python into the victim's home to eat the victim’s daughter, mailing dog feces or dead rats to the victim's residence, and even scalping the victim.

Kinsey, as per authorities, played a pivotal role by acquiring and building the explosive device using Tannerite, which he then used to blow up the victim's house on January 13, 2023.
