‘Survivor’ star Erik Huffman arrested for domestic violence after wife Jamie Dugan says he hurt her

SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA: It seems trouble has been brewing between 'Survivor' star Erik Huffman and his co-star-turned-wife, Jaime Dugan.

TMZ has reported that the pair was allegedly involved in a fight and Huffman was the primary aggressor who went violent with Jaime, in late Janaury.

Now, Huffman has reportedly been arrested on allegations of domestic violence.

Erik Huffman and Jaime Dugan fought over cheating accusations

It has been said that police received a disturbance call at a convenience store out in Spartanburg, SC, two months ago.

When they reached there, they found Huffman who claimed that he was looking for his spouse.

The publication citing a police report noted that the musician told the cops that he was concerned about Dugan’s safety as she went in their car after an argument over cheating allegtions.

However, when Dugan was eventually located by the officers, her account differed from her husband’s.

She reportedly alleged that Huffman hurt her physically. She also informed the police that the couple’s fight began after she found a burner phone with Huffman.

The TV personality claimed that her husband violently took away that phone from her while leaving her with a broken middle fingernail and some small cuts on her hand.

Dugan asserted that she left Huffman in the store and took the car because she feared for her safety.

Following the probe, Huffman was taken into custody and slapped with a third-degree domestic violence charge.

Erik Huffman and Jaime Dugan’s romance began during ‘Survivor: China’

As per reports, Dugan and Huffman have been married since 2009 and are also parents to a son named Harper.

They met during the shooting of ‘Survivor: China’ (Season 15) and in 2020, Jaime reportedly shared, “It’s crazy because our first conversation is recorded. We spoke for the very first time on national television.”

Referring to the reality show, she noted, “The hardest part was definitely the starvation. You’re so gross and you smell. My hair fell out and my eyes sunk in. I lost like, 21 pounds in 20 days, and I think Erik lost like 30 pounds.”

But about their romance, Jaime added, “We were automatically connected because we grew up in the same town. We felt at peace with each other. I’d always joke with him ‘if you screw me over, I’m going to tell your mom'."
