'Teen Mom' fans slam David Eason as he launches rap career after wife Janelle Evans' restraining order
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Teen Mom' star Janelle Evans, 32, has been granted a restraining order against her estranged husband, David Eason, 35. While Evans is busy filming the next season of the MTV franchise, Eason has ventured into a new career path—rap music, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Eason debuted his latest hip-hop track, 'My Year,' with a live performance shared on YouTube and Instagram on Wednesday.

David Eason, known for his controversial past, began the track by saying, "It's supposed to be a country song. I didn't write country - I wrote some rap on this beat!" He then launched into his lyrics, "I step up on the mic and I do what's right / I let you all know I'm coming for that a*s tonight."
He continued, "So get right with God / and don't be slipping / Get your boots strapped up / Get your mamas out the kitchen."
His first hip-hop single, 'Please Don't Make Me,' released in October, garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube.
Following Evans' filing for separation from Eason, she and her three children were granted a restraining order against him. The six-month domestic violence protective order requires Eason to surrender his firearms and prohibits any contact with Evans or her children. This order was issued amid their ongoing child custody case over their 7-year-old daughter, Ensley Jolie.
Eason, who did not have legal representation in the North Carolina courtroom, has a history of erratic behavior and substance abuse, according to Evans. She also cited the 2019 incident where Eason killed the family’s French bulldog, Nugget, and his recent charge of child abuse for allegedly strangling their son, Jace.
Despite the tumultuous situation, Evans is focusing on her future and the safety of her children. She recently pulled her children out of school to homeschool them, citing safety concerns.
Evans is also considering a move to Florida, near her Teen Mom co-star Briana DeJesus. She has announced her return to the MTV franchise, appearing in season two of 'The Next Chapter,' which premieres May 30 on MTV.
