'The View' host Sunny Hostin reveals she snapped at construction workers who shouted 'Trump 2024' at her
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sunny Hostin recently revealed details about a heated argument she endured with a few construction workers outside of ‘The View’ studio that forced building security to step in.
The 55-year-old detailed her encounter on one of the recent episodes of ‘The View: Behind the Table' podcast, telling executive producer Brian Teta that former President Donald Trump was the subject of that verbal spat.
Hostin revealed that she snapped back at the construction workers after they yelled, “Trump 2024" at her when she was leaving the building.
Sunny Hostin opens up about heated exchange with Donald Trump supporters
During the podcast episode, Teta mentioned a story about Joy Behar getting into a heated debate with former POTUS Donald Trump supporters outside of Trump Towers in New York City.
Hostin then budged in and recalled her story when she got into a screaming match with several people outside the studio’s building while with co-star Ana Navarro.
"I was outside our building, and some of the construction workers started yelling at Ana [Navarro] and me, 'Trump 2024!' And I was like, 'He's going to jail!’" she said.
Hostin admitted the outburst was out of character for her as she typically doesn't engage with others that way on the street.
"And I'm like, 'What am I doing?' There's no upside. I don't know why I did that. Ana just kept on walking, and I was like, 'You need to watch the January 6th committee hearings instead of yelling at women!' I went crazy," she said.
Hostin disclosed that the argument got so heated that security eventually had to step in to calm things down between both parties.
"Poor Sammy, our security guard, ran out because I'm yelling at this guy. He was totally taken aback," she exclaimed.
Sunny Hostin accused Ana Navarro of stealing her vacuum cleaner
Hostin also called out her co-star and dear friend, Ana Navarro for stealing her vacuum cleaner once.
On the podcast, Hostin revealed, “I bought my own vacuum cleaner, and I noticed it was missing…for a while. It reappeared…and it had a lot of dirt in it”
So, someone, I don't know which owner. I don't know whose assistant stole my vacuum cleaner...It was very shady," she said.
Adding fuel to the fire, the executive producer, Teta said, “I will say it's unlikely anybody other than a host took the vacuum because I don't think anyone else would be so daring.”
“I'm going to accuse Ana Navarro," Sunny settled, though she repeatedly said that Joy Behar could also be the culprit.
