Coco Austin leaves fans divided as she's called out for video of daughter Chanel, 8, playing beer pong

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin are happy parents of a potential beer pong champion, however, some of his fans are not entirely impressed.

Coco, 44, recently posted a video on Instagram showcasing her daughter Chanel Nicole Marrow's "hidden talent" in the popular party game—a surprising ability given the youngster's age of only 8.

Online fans both praised and criticized the OnlyFans model on Instagram for letting her child play an adult drinking game when she was not even drinking.

Austin, 44, and Ice-T, 65, welcomed Chanel into their family in November 2015. Fans often criticize the model and 'Law & Order: SVU' star for their parenting.

As per Page Six, Austin faced backlash in September 2022 after giving her 6-year-old daughter a bath in the kitchen sink.

The 'Ice Loves Coco' actress also received criticism in December 2023 after sharing a video of her 7-year-old kid "twerking" while wearing Christmas pajamas.

Fans most recently called Austin's kiss "weird" on Chanel's lips while they were underwater.

The actress said, "Chanel's got skills," alongside a video posted on Instagram last Thursday, January 4, showing her and Ice-T's daughter playing an adult drinking game without using alcohol.

Her daughter, who celebrated her birthday in November with her extremely "proud" parents, was shown in the video tossing ping pong balls into red solo cups and making four straight wins.

Not only was her mother amazed by her skill, but Austin's sister Kristy Williams and her childhood friend, Sayward White, were astounded by Chanel's repeated cup winning.

Austin could be heard remarking, "No one can beat you in a drinking game. They will lose!" after Chanel amazed her family with her skills.

In the video, Chanel was heard telling her mother to get her shots immediately even though she did not drink.

Fans divided over 8-year-old Chanel's 'hidden talent'

Although 8-year-old Chanel looked happy in the video and was not drinking any throughout the game, several commenters felt it was improper to expose the child to a game that is typically played with alcohol.

One person slammed the act and wrote in the comments section, "If normal everyday parents were to do this with their children and post it to their social media account you can bet social services would be there in a hot second to take their children away from the parents ‼️‼️"

A second one said in part, "Really you taught her how to play beer bong? Something is wrong with all the adults in this video!!" while a third one called the video was "disturbing."

A fourth critic stated, "Ok, this is weird. Why u teaching ur 7 yr old how to play beer pong?"

Another one explained, "This is how Coco grew up- this is how she was raised. So this is how she is going to raise her daughter. Wasn’t coco raised like white trash? That’s all she knows. I don’t think this is neglect, rather the only parenting style she knows. When in reality it’s painfully inappropriate and damaging. It’s sad but Coco is doing her best as a parent."

Others supported Austin, with one user pointing out that youngsters can play a comparable game called the Red Cup Challenge at Dave & Buster's.

The user wrote in the comment section, "For yall freaking out that she’s playing pong. You know they have this game for kids to play at Dave and Busters right? It’s not nearly the crisis some of yall are making it out to be"

A second follower pointed out, "The only thing that makes this game 'adult' is the beer. If you put any other beverage in, it's just a silly ball throwing game."

In response, the actress said, "Yes exactly we literally have water in [the] cups...so stupid...she was just having fun throwing the ball."

Another one clarified, "She is throwing a ball in a cup get over it people. She is a very much loved little girl having funny with family. Just because the cups are set up like beer pong doesn’t mean she is playing beer pong. Confidence is fabulous in little Ladies should be more of it."

"She would have won the Schwin Bike on the Bozo show! Love her!" exclaimed another one.

One more noted, "I’m lovin that she has confidence- her self esteem as she gets older is going to be wonderful. All the love she gets"
