In a heart-wrenching August 8 TikTok video, Taylor candidly addressed her declining health, responding to fans who noticed she didn’t seem as happy after marrying rodeo bull rider Cameron Grigg.

Shortly after their wedding in August 2023, Taylor Rousseau Grigg revealed she became ill, calling Cameron Grigg a "great husband" and "the best thing that ever happened to me."
Despite her worsening condition, she explained that her social media presence didn’t require her to constantly put on a happy face for her 1.4 million followers, as per DailyMail.

Taylor had been battling her illness since August last year but didn’t receive a clear diagnosis until 2024.
She confessed, "Stress is what did this to me, or one of the things that did this to me." For months, Taylor struggled, unsure of what was wrong and fearing for her life.
"You're seeing me be sick for the whole time that we're married and me not finding out what was wrong until this year...so I was just struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die," she added.

"I’m done doing that," she said, while sharing the pain and uncertainty she endured.
In her final TikToks, the social media star reflected on her condition, saying, "I feel like I’m fighting for life every day and when I didn't know what was wrong with me, I would be in bed writhing in pain just wishing to be dead," adding that at 24, she should have been "in [her] prime!"
"I should be able to walk to the mailbox or run. And those are just things that I can't really do right now."
Rousseau posted a video on September 4 where she announced she was turning 25.
Rousseau's last TikTok post, shared on September 26, featured her taking her cherished Pit Bull, Baby, to the veterinarian.

Taylor’s mother, Lauri Rousseau, told the press that her daughter was holding out hope for a miracle, which, in her view, came in the form of her death and joining Jesus.
Cameron has set up a GoFundMe to cover hospital and funeral expenses, which has already raised over $46,000.
Taylor’s family, including her sisters, are committed to preserving her legacy, as her older sister Bailey Wagner vowed, "I’m just not ready to let go."
