WASHINGTON, DC: TIME magazine was slammed by many after the news outlet carried a cover story on Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

On Monday, August 12, the latest issue seemed to have glorified the present vice president with the title ‘Her Moment' written by Charlotte Alter.

TIME magazine lauds Kamala Harris on its new cover story

The piece mentions, "Harris has pulled off the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history" and emphasizes that she may have been on the wrong side during the 2020 Democratic primary and didn’t get enough opportunity to realize her full potential as vice president.

However, she "seems matched to the moment" as the Democratic presidential nominee.

Harris was endorsed by President Joe Biden on July 21 after he withdrew from the re-run, reports Fox News

"Even if Washington was taken by surprise, the energetic fighter of the past two weeks matches the Harris whom allies say they have known for years," Alter said in her cover story.

How did Kamala Harris' critic respond to the TIME magazine's cover?

Meanwhile, conservatives and anti-Kamala Harris voices trolled the magazine.

"The way the US corporate media transformed Kamala Harris from a national embarrassment to a transformative pioneer overnight -- without even pretending to care about anything that she thinks or believes -- is a powerful testament to how potent the science of propaganda is," journalist Glenn Greenwald tweeted on X.

Jim Treacher said, "Journos worshipping politicians, terrific."

Political Pundit Stephen L Miller wrote, "We're on about 8 reintroductions of her, for a reason but here's Time's new cover. Soak it up."

"Why did she need reintroducing? Is it that she needed to change all her policies?" National Review senior writer Charles C W Cooke expressed.

"Kamala Harris has been reintroduced more times than the McDonald's McRib sandwich," communications specialist Brian Doherty wrote.

Conservative communications strategist Matt Whitlock also slammed the magazine, "No reintroduction necessary, she’s the Vice President of the United States, we know her well."

Ascent Strategic Director Mark Warner responded, "Reintroducing? Hey @TIME y’all know she has been the VP for the last almost four years? Right?"

Geigar Capital said, "The way the US corporate media has tried to transform Kamala Harris from a consensus joke to a historic leader in a matter of weeks, without even pretending to care about her policies or ideas, shows how blatant US propaganda has become… This is North Korea level worshipping."
