The deteriorating change in climate is real, and people, especially celebrities who prefer to take private jets instead of traveling on passenger flights, are expected to be a bit conscious of its impact. But it seems with more money, they are getting even less senitive. The Myclimate Carbon Tracker did a survey recently and revealed the names of the celebrities who took the most number of private jets in 2023.

1. Travis Scott

As per the Myclimate Carbon Tracker’s data, Travis Scott topped the list of celebrities by taking 137 private jets last year. The total kilometers he traveled was 330,145, resulting in the most quantity of carbon dioxide emissions - 6,061,300 kg.

2. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has also not been very kind toward the planet as she took 165 private flights, covering 485, 102 kilometers while releasing 5, 857, 600 kg of carbon dioxide emissions.

3. Elon Musk

Elon Musk was not very far behind Kim Kardashian as he took 150 private jets last year, contributing 4, 564, 7000 kg of carbon dioxide emissions in the already noxious environment.

4. Beyonce and Jay-Z

The power couple reportedly flew 144 times in their private jets, covering 357, 656 kilometers and emitting 4, 317, 800 kg of carbon dioxide.

5. Bill Gates

The former CEO of Microsoft flew 112 times privately, releasing 3, 711, 900 kg carbon dioxide emissions.

6. Steven Spielberg

The film director contributed to climate’s deterioration by taking 120 private jets in 2023 and releasing 3, 661, 800 kg of carbon dioxide.

7. Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry took 78 private flights while traveling 180, 783 kilometers and releasing 3, 319, 100 kg of carbon dioxide.

The British-American businessman took a total of 121 private jets, releasing 3, 130, 300 kg of carbon dioxide.

9. Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner flew 72 times via her private jet, which left 3, 073, 100 kg of carbon dioxide in the air.

10. Celine Dion
