MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Seth Meyers found himself momentarily at a loss for words as he tried to respond to Donald Trump's latest assertion during a rally.

In a January episode of 'Late Night With Seth Meyers', the host poked fun at the former prez through an X/Twitter post with the caption, "That trademark Trump name-calling at its worst. #ACloserLook"

Looking at 'Donald Trump enter the intellectual arena'

Around 9 minutes into the show, Meyers called out the former president, saying, "Now let's see Donald Trump enter the intellectual arena with his thoughtfully crafted response."

Trump criticized Joe Biden's campaign event in Pennsylvania, mocking the POTUS for stuttering and accusing him of falsely labeling him a threat to democracy. Trump dismissed the accusations, claiming that Biden and his team have weaponized the government.

In response to Trump mimicking Joe Biden as if the president was unable to read the word 'democracy', Meyers replied, "So our choice this November is between a guy who's 81 years old and another guy who's in third grade."

"Sure, it's easy for Trump not to stumble when he's talking about important stuff like pants and magnets," Meyers added, referring to a recent event in Iowa where the leading Republican candidate for the 2024 elections shared how individuals often approach him with curious inquiries such as, “Sir, how do you do it? How do you wake up in the morning and put on your pants?”

Meyers also didn't miss the chance to inject some humor into the situation, taking a swipe at Trump's recent inaccurate statement about magnets.

“Does [President Joe] Biden stumble? He does sometimes,” Meyers acknowledged. “But if you’re voting for Trump because you’re looking for a candidate who never flubs their words, then I have some terrible news for you.”

'One of the best closer looks in a while'

Trump's verbal slip-ups and false claims created a comedic supercut for the audience's amusement. One of them quipped on X, "Why insult 3rd graders?"

A comment on the show's Youtube channel read, "Thank you Seth for turning reality into humor."

"I'm glad you're back Seth! I was starting to feel suffocated by the Trump insanity but watching your 10/10 jokes makes it a bit easier to breathe," aniother shared.

"Thank you Seth! I know it is really sad and scary. You make me laugh! The magnet segment is priceless," someone else noted.
