NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Since October, the Biden administration has allocated approximately $121 million in taxpayer funds to UNRWA, the UN agency facing scrutiny for its purported connections to Hamas, as stated by the State Department on Tuesday.

As a result of this, the admin faces criticism for supporting an organization linked to Hamas.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter to take a brutal jab at POTUS as many other people on the internet joined the host and slammed Biden.

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “HELPING HAMAS: Biden Admin Has Given $121M in Taxpayer Cash to UNRWA Since Oct 7th; Report.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website which stated that Biden admin has been funding UNRWA ever since the October 7th terror attacks in Israel and sent $121 million till now.

The remaining $300,000 in allocated funds for this fiscal year, intended for delivery to the humanitarian relief organization in the coming weeks, has been frozen by the US government.

This action is in response to allegations that some members of UNRWA participated in the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, as stated by State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.

Miller conveyed to journalists during the State Department's daily press briefing that "the funding has been suspended."

He also noted that predicting additional US contributions to UNRWA for the fiscal year, in case the funds are unfrozen, is "impossible" due to the government operating under a continuing resolution.

Miller said, “We don't know how much overall funding will be available for this fiscal year, and that would impact how much we would be able to provide UNRWA.”

“Historically, we have typically provided somewhere between $300 and $400 million a year in funding."

The Biden administration has redirected hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to UNRWA, overturning the decision made by former President Donald Trump to cut funding to the group.

Biden officials assert that the funds are intended for humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people. However, critics argue that UNRWA is "effectively a branch of Hamas."

Internet rips Joe Biden and calls him a 'traitor'

One person wrote, “Does the big guy get 10%?” and another said, “He should really visit Gaza alone for a few days!! I’m sure they are like family.”

An X user simply called Biden, a “Traitor,” and another said, “Joe is looking bad.  Whatever they are giving him every weekend is not working.”

One more person slammed Biden by saying, “This man has absolutely no damn idea on what he's doing. The United States should keep its nose out of foreign affairs and put that money where it belongs, Right here. How bout using it for our homeless veterans or giving it to diebeedies patients, [sic]  or st.jude. [sic]”

Another wrote, “Like I said, what I believe,  Joe Biden is not working in the best interest of the American people,  and I’m sure he knew exactly where that money was going!! and wouldn’t that be considered treason??”
