Lenee, who got engaged to Hunter in February 2024 after being together for two years, sparked controversy last week when she watched her man scoop the Heisman Trophy, reported Daily Mail.

Interestingly, social media users are now slamming Lenee again after noticing that she has a dollar sign tattooed on her ring finger. The meaning behind her tattoo is still unclear, with Hunter's fiancee never talking about it.

Earlier in December, Hunter and Lenee were also seen having a heated discussion on the field after Colorado's victory over Oklahoma State, per the outlet.

One person stated, "I aint saying she a gold digger but.....," while another asked, "Well why do you think she is with him? His good looks?"

Some people took to the comments section of the article to express their views on the tattoo. One individual wrote, "He’d be smart to reconsider this engagement. At least prolong it because she sounds like she’s going to ruin moments that should be amazing for Travis."

Travis Hunter said that his fiancee Leanna Lenee got drunk and cried herself to sleep after getting trolled following his Heisman Trophy victory on Saturday, December 14 night.

Hunter had a stern message for critics and said during a live stream on Twitch, "You ain’t never had no girl so why are y’all talking about me? Find someone else to talk about… Go talk about your girl. Go find a girl. Go find a life. Stop worrying about what I got going on. I know what I got."

He continued, "My girl been with me for five years. y’all are just now starting to talk about me… y’all go do something else with y’all life. Clickbait pages stop, y’all better stop I’m telling y’all. Something bad is gonna happen to y’all [if you] keep doing that. Y’all better stop that. I ain’t playing."

The Colorado star added, "Y’all hate on me then you go hate on my girl. I feel the same thing that she feels. We’re inseparable. We’re with each other. If she’s hurting I’m hurting [and vice versa]… she’s still sleeping. She’s lump. You know when you’re hurt you just cry yourself to sleep and you be gone. She’s drunk OD amount tonight for no reason."
