LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian, famous for her reality television series, is facing a storm of online outrage after appearing to show support for President Donald Trump. The reality star recently shared a birthday tribute for her youngest daughter, Chicago, on social media, but the post quickly sparked a wave of criticism.

The controversy erupted after Kardashian appeared to show support for Trump, following her visit to the White House in 2018, and shared a post of First Lady Melania Trump from the inauguration event earlier this week.

Kim Kardashian shares heartfelt birthday post for her daughter

Kim Kardashian, the SKIMS founder and mother of four, recently shared a heartfelt birthday tribute for her daughter Chicago on Instagram. The post featured six adorable pictures of the two together, capturing playful and loving moments as they smiled and made funny gestures.

The caption read, “My twin soul baby girl Chi turns 7 today! You are the cutest Hello Kitty loving, full of wonder sweet girl who loves your friends and family so much! We all love you so much! Happy Birthday my Chi Chi 💘”

However, while the post initially received some love, in the past two days, it quickly attracted a wave of criticism, with many followers accusing Kim of expressing political support

It's important to note that Kim previously visited the White House in 2018 to advocate for criminal justice reform, petitioning to have certain sentences overturned for cases she felt sympathetic toward.

More recently, on Monday, Kim caused a stir when she shared a seemingly supportive message for First Lady Melania Trump, as per Mirror.

Following Melania's attendance at the president's inaugural ceremony, Kim posted a picture of Melania at the event in her signature sharp style. While Kim did not comment on the photo, many of her followers interpreted it as an endorsement of President Trump and the Republican Party, leading to continued backlash under her birthday post.

Critics flock to Kim Kardashian's heartfelt birthday post for her daughter

Although Kim Kardashian's heartfelt post was shared six days ago, critics and trolls have recently taken over, flooding it with hateful comments.

A user said, “I hope you told your daughter that you voted against her rights 🙃”

One critic encouraged others claiming, “Guys unfollow, don’t watch their show and don’t buy their products. Hit them where it hurts.”

To which a person who obeyed the comment wrote, “UNFOLLOWED!”

One more encouraged, “Unfollow and we thought you stand for the right things🤦🏻‍♂️#unfollow.”

An Instagram user said, “Ohhhh you also support a man who takes women’s rights away. Pretty sure you wouldn’t have 2 of your 4 kids if you didn’t have access to reproductive rights or surrogates or in vitro fertilization.”

An online user commented, “Unimaginable supporting who is in office after what the Armenian people experienced with discrimination and genocide. You’re a special kind of sick Kim. And I was always a fan. You’ve disappointed your fans for the last time. Money bought your soul.”

Finally, a commenter claimed, “So you’re in the billionaires club and you lost all human decency. I will never support your products ever again and I hope you lose many followers and that makes you realize that you’re not the good person you think you are.”
