WASHINGTON, DC: Senator Mike Lee, who is one of Donald Trump's allies, is the most recent Republican to denounce the Patriot Front, an organization that is masked but has been called a hate group with ties to the right and white supremacist ideology, the Raw Story reported.

Lee questioned the veracity of the conservative protestors on social media on Saturday, July 6. A hoax about President Joe Biden having a "medical emergency" aboard Air Force One on Friday, July 5, led to criticism of the Senator earlier in the day.

Mike Lee calls Patriot Front a 'false flag operation'

Talking about the hate group, Mike wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "I’ve never heard of this group. Any chance this is a false flag operation?" He added, "I’d love to know — does anyone out there know anyone who is part of this group? Has anyone ever heard of it?"

"So much uniformity. It hardly has the feel of a grassroots, patriotic group. I don’t think I’ve never seen one that looks or acts like this," the Senator added.

Moreover, Lee even went so far as to say that the people were, in fact, Democrats. He stated, "One of America’s two major political parties long had a violent, militant, enforcement operation. Its members covered their faces. They did bad stuff. Truly evil things. To promote their party. I’d rather not say which party. Hint: it was not the Republican Party."

Notably, Lee made these comments around six months after Republican Trump ally Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene denounced the Patriot Front for "marching all around in their stupid masks".

One person stated, "Mike Lee is a pathological liar. He denied during the 2023 State of the Union any GOPer wanted to end some key safety net programs only to find a video when he was running for office he DID propose that very thing."

Another wrote, "They cannot do anything but lie."

One individual commented, "They lie, they cheat and deflect. Oh, and they can't govern. Despicable Lee is just one of them," while another added, "Sorry Mr. Lee, liberals have jobs and aren’t big into fascist uniformity."
