NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Victoria Jackson, the former 'Saturday Night Live' star, has shared heartbreaking news about her health.

The 65-year-old actress, best known for her comedy roles on 'SNL' from 1986 to 1992, recently confirmed in an Instagram video that her cancer has relapsed and is now inoperable.

Victoria Jackson says surgery is not an option as it will suffocate her to death

In the nearly eight-minute video posted on Wednesday, August 14, Victoria Jackson revealed that doctors have informed her that surgery is not an option.

“They cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe, and eventually would suffocate me to death,” she said.

Jackson first battled breast cancer in 2016, but after years of remission, the disease has returned with a vengeance.

She shared that her healthcare providers are doing their best to manage her condition, including scheduling the delivery of a new treatment.

“They said they would deliver a ‘magic pill’ to my home within 12 hours,” Jackson said, referring to Ribociclib, a cancer growth blocker. “And it will shrink the marble, hopefully,” she added, according to People.

According to Jackson, “patients who take the ‘magic pill’ have 32.6 months to live. Something like that.”

Despite the grim prognosis, Jackson maintained a positive outlook. In her Instagram caption, she added a slightly longer timeline.

“Cancer Update: I have 34.8 months to live if I don’t get hit by a meteor, shot by a MAGA hater, get Covid again or WWIII breaks out,” she said.
