Vili Fualaau and late sex offender Mary Kay Letourneau's daughter Georgia gives birth to baby boy

DES MOINES, WASHINGTON: A new chapter unfolds in the Fualaau family as they greet a new addition.

Georgia Fualaau, daughter of Vili Fualaau and the late Mary Kay Letourneau, infamous for her conviction as a child rapist, has stepped into the realm of motherhood, as per a source close to the family, per People.

Georgia Fualaau, at the tender age of 25, gave birth to a baby boy earlier this month, adding a fresh burst of joy to the Fualaau family. 

Sister announced Georgia Fualaau's pregnancy in August

On August 19, Audrey, aged 26, initially announced her younger sister's pregnancy. She expressed, "Words cannot explain how excited I am for my little sister to have this baby boy…. you're going to be such an amazing mom!"

In an earlier conversation with People, Georgia shared that her father and sister have been "extremely supportive" during her pregnancy.

She mentioned that her father is  "already buying baby stuff for me and giving me hand-me-downs from my baby sister."

Who is the Georgia Fualaau's baby's father?

The father of Georgia's baby is her long-term boyfriend, who works as a delivery driver and has aspirations to become a boxer.

Georgia has expressed her desire to keep him away from public attention, per People. 

Georgia's first experience of motherhood follows the birth of her father Vili's third child, a girl named Sophia, in 2022.

She shared the news of her half-sister's birth on her private Instagram account, a post that was viewed by People. She wrote, "Hi Sophia, I'm your big sister! You're so beautiful, I can't wait to watch you grow. I'll be right here by your side no matter what! I love you 💕."

Georgia Fualaau's parents' relationship

The controversial relationship between Georgia's parents reportedly began in 1996 when Letourneau, a 34-year-old sixth-grade teacher, and Fualaau, a 12-year-old student, became sexually involved.

Despite an initial sentence of only a few months, Letourneau was eventually sentenced to over seven years in prison for child rape, having disregarded court orders and continued her relationship with Fualaau.

Upon her release from prison in 2004, Fualaau, now legally an adult, requested the court to lift the restraining order that barred them from seeing each other.

The court complied, and the couple married in 2005. However, Letourneau reportedly remained a registered sex offender in Washington state until her demise.

In 2017, the couple decided to part ways after Fualaau filed for legal separation. Despite the split, they continued to be a part of each other's lives.

Fualaau was present during Letourneau’s final moments in 2020, and he inherited a significant portion of her estate as per her will.

The 25-year-old, while appreciative of the support from her sister and father, believes that her mother, who died in July 2020 at the age of 58 from stage 4 cancer, would have been "really happy."
